Dear Rita and family,
Jan and I offer our sincere sympathy for your loss. Growing up being neighbors to you folks has always left me with such fond memories. Like your neighbor Rodney, I too remember the late night card games being played by Ray, Rita and friends at my folks house. It seems like yesterday when I could hear the laughter along with Ray's cigar smoke reaching our bedroom above the dining room card table. What wondeful memories of a time when neighbors helped each other make it through the hard times, and something as simple as a card game, a late night lunch, or a backyard beer would prove to be the perfect ending to a difficult week. I can only think that Ray is busy right now talking with my folks and all the other neighbors who have gone before him. There is so much catching up to do, and so many games of sheepshead that have yet to be played. Rest easy Ray, we shall all miss you. Bob and Jan Miller

Rita and family...what a life well lived! You can see it all the wonderful family pictures. It was great to see the old photo with the neighbors in my parent's (Russell and Edwina) kitchen. I remember card nights at our house with Ray and Rita. From upstairs we kids could hear the laughter, and groans, of the sheepshead being played below. And in the morning there was the lingering smell of Ray's cigar. My prayers are with you Rita, and family, at this time of loss, and rememberance.

Dear Rita and family, Ray will always hold a special place in my heart as a good friend and neighbor growing up in the Town of Chilton. I spent many hours watching Ray and Rita playing cards with my parents, Clayton and Ione. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
