Adeline M. Hoerth, age 94, of Chilton, died on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Century Ridge in Chilton. She was born January 20, 1918 in Chilton, daughter of the late Otto & Helen (Schwobe) Veit. Adeline married Frank Hoerth on September 5, 1939 in Chilton; the couple farmed together in the Chilton area until their retirement in 1973. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton where she had also belonged to the Christian Women. Adeline was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed playing Sheepshead, Spite & Malice and going to dances with her friends. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at family gatherings playing board games. Survivors include her daughter: Patricia (Peter) Woelfel of Kiel, WI; grandchildren: Christine (Richard) Kuehnl of Chilton, Michael J. (Dawn) Woelfel of Chilton, Brian Woelfel of Monroe, WI, Cheryl (Kevin) Tungate of Kimberly, Janet (Daniel) Hauser of Chilton, Robert (Susan) Woelfel of Hilbert; great-grandchildren: Staff Sergeant Jason (Chani) Kuehnl of Twentynine Palms, CA, Justin & Jordan Kuehnl of Chilton, Aaron Anuszewski and special friend, Bethany of Pulaski, WI, Tanya & Taylor Woelfel of Chilton, Zachary & Alec Woelfel of Hilbert; great-great-grandchildren: Abigail & Jayda Kuehnl of Twentynine Palms, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her parents and a sister and brother-in-law. Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Chilton. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 22, 2012 and on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM. A parish vigil service will be held Thursday evening at the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Adeline's family would like to thank the entire staff of Century Ridge, and the Calumet County Hospice organization for all of the loving care that was provided to her.
