Eleanor A. Hollmann, age 94, of Chilton, died on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born July 14, 1917 in New Holstein, daughter of the late Frank & Anna (Rauscher) Seidel. She married Edward V. Hollmann on June 11, 1941 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester, WI; he preceded her in death on May 13, 2008. Eleanor was a living testament to motherhood; she lived and devoted her life to the care of her family. Eleanor was a fantastic cook and baker. In all circumstances, Eleanor made sure that there was delicious food at meal times, clothes on everyone's back, and took time to help her children with their studies. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, and Tiger Woods, and never turned down a game of Smear. Survivors include her children: Phil (Peg) Hollmann of Pickerel, WI, Gail (Wayne) Radtke of Rothschild, WI, Steve (JoAnne) Hollmann of Appleton; a daughter-in-law: Bev Hollmann of Platteville; 3 grandchildren: Michelle (Richard) Mirek, Sheila Desotelle, Laura (Kevin) Richards; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Gretchen Seidel of Kimberly. She is further survived by niece, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son: Stan Hollmann; a brother: Art Seidel; and a step-brother: Don (Ruth) Sauter. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 when the service will be held.
