My beloved Gregory C. Schweitzer, age 60, passed away on December 30, 2012. He was born in Milwaukee on July 26, 1952, son of Howard J. and Delores (Sherry) Schweitzer. Greg graduated from UW Stevens Point with a BS in Science and later earned his Masters Degree in Counseling from UW Oshkosh. He married Mary Mikolic on June 19, 1976 in Sheboygan. Greg was incredibly intelligent and devoted his life to teaching the sciences to the youth of Brillion and Valders. Greg loved his dogs, boating, and spending time at his cottage in Shawano. Above all else he loved his family. Greg adored his son, Nick whom he taught all he knew of hunting and fishing; and cherished his wife: Mary. He will be truly missed by Mary, Nick, his mom & dad, Howard J. & Delores Schweitzer, and his brother, Dan. Private family services were held Friday, January 4, 2013.
