Norbert G. Ludwig, age 69, of New Holstein, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Parkview Manor in Green Bay. He was born November 13, 1942 in Stockbridge, son of Marie (Heimann) Ludwig and the late Arlin Ludwig. He married Rose Pitz on November 16, 1968 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. Later in life, Norbert married Karen Morrison on December 20, 1990 in Chilton. Norbert served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army and was extremely proud to be a veteran. He had worked at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein, and most recently worked for Kwik Trip in New Holstein and Kiel. Early in his life, he volunteered with Boy Scout Troop 810 in Chilton. He was well known for love of putzing around and his vast collection many different things. He is survived by his wife: Karen of New Holstein; his mother: Marie Ludwig; his children: Sherie (Phil) Anhalt of Chilton, Brian Ludwig of Green Bay, Steve Ludwig of Oshkosh, Dawn Ludwig of Fond du Lac, Dion Ludwig of Green Bay; step children: Dan Morrison, Dave Morrison, Denise Walber; 4 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Michael (Karen) Ludwig of Chilton, Marvin (Adrian) Ludwig of Manitowoc, Donald (Diane) Ludwig of Hortonville; and a sister: Arleen (Gary) Schwartz of Shawano. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2012 and on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM when the service will be held.
