Roma Leona Ludwig, age 78, of North Hollywood, CA, died at her home in North Hollywood. She was born January 4, 1934 in Chilton, daughter of the late Henry & Helen (Franzen) Ludwig. Roma was raised on her family's farm and throughout her life loved animals and lovingly cared for numerous cats. Most recently, she cared for her two beloved cats, Licorice & Melody. She had worked a short time at the Fond du Lac Power and Light before she moved to L.A. During her time there, she worked as a Legal Aid and enjoyed traveling up and down the West Coast, and to places around the world including Italy, Rome and Switzerland. She is survived by her sister: Ruth Stanelle of Fond du Lac; a brother: Henry Ludwig of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers: Ervin Ludwig & Norman Ludwig; and 6 sisters: Josephine Birschbach, Elda Berenz, Marie Heimerl, Loraine Kuehnl, Bernadine Gerner & Dorothy Hoffman. Memorials are appreciated in the name of Roma Leona Ludwig for the Fond du Lac Humane Society, or for Masses. Funeral services are currently pending.
