William E. "Bill" Bush, age 78, of Chilton, died on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah. He was born January 6, 1934 in Detroit, MI. Bill faithfully served his country in the United States Army; he had served three years in Korea during the Korean War. He married Katherine E. (Bolz) Diener on September 17, 1983 in Chilton and the couple enjoyed 28 years of marriage together. During his life, Bill had worked for Miller Electric as a Machinist for 22 years until retiring in 1994. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #125. Bill enjoyed playing Bingo, working in the flower garden and camping with family and friends. In his younger days, he had delighted in the great outdoors and spent his time hunting and fishing. Bill will be remembered as an individual who liked to kid around and had devoted his life to providing for his family. Survivors include his wife: Katherine; children: Debbie (Thomas) Rowland, Christina (Doug) Everson, Sharon (Jay) Sallis, Jennifer (Dennis) Kaas, Robert Diener, Theresa (Ed) Hansen, Lynn (Wayne) Sonkowsky, Mark (Debbie) Diener, William Bush, II, Brian (Donna) Diener, Robert Bush; 27 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Kenneth (Jane) Bolz, Dave (Nancy) Bolz, John Bolz; and many friends. He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Ashanteana Kalyn Sonkowsky, & Quintin Todd Sonkowsky and his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Bill & Armella Bolz. Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Neenah.
