Alice K. Roepcke, age 65, of Chilton died on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at her home in Chilton. She was born May 4, 1944 in Fond du Lac, daughter of the late William J. & Madeline M. (Grittner) Nadler. She married Robert W. Roepcke on April 1, 1967 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. During her life, Alice worked at Chilton Products for over 30 years and was a member of Faith Alliance Church in Chilton. She was a loving and compassionate person and always tried to help and encourage the people around her. Alice's children and grandchildren meant everything to her and she devoted her life to caring for her family. Alice always had more love and compassion to give and became like a mother to her sister's children when she died at a young age. Alice enjoyed reading romance novels, but her family will always remember her passion for baking and creating delicious meals in the kitchen. Survivors include her husband: Bob; 2 children: David (Tohnja) Roepcke of Chilton; Chad Roepcke who lived with and cared for Alice in Chilton; 5 grandchildren: August, Nathaniel, Dyllan, Brandin, Travis; 5 brothers-in-law; 6 sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew: Luke Nadler; a sister: Sharon Moehr, and a brother: William Nadler, Jr. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with Pastor Ronald Hannon officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2009 when the service will be held. Visitation will continue following the funeral service.
